Batumi International Black Sea Festival

Under the Patronage of the PRESIDENT OF GEORGIA and UNESCO, the Lyra Charity Foundation will host the 12th Batumi Black Sea International Music & Art Festival from 2 to 6 December 2025.

 

For five days, the city of Batumi will serve as a dynamic center of cultural exchange and artistic creativity, further reinforcing Georgia’s distinguished role on the international cultural landscape.

December 2 | 19:00 - Anniversary Gala Concert

Featuring the legendary ensemble Batumi, opening the festival with a magnificent performance that sets the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

December 3 | 19:00 - Usui Toshiki – The acclaimed pianist captivates audiences with a masterful solo performance, revealing his profound musical sensitivity and virtuosity.

December 4 | 19:00  - Anzor Erkomaishvili’s “Georgia, History, Culture, Ethnography” Trilogy Presentation & Musical Performance An inspiring journey through Georgia’s rich musical and cultural heritage, accompanied by a live performance that beautifully complements the trilogy.

December 5 | 17:00  - Ahmed Al Hashen – The prodigious pianist from the UAE delivers a captivating solo concert, showcasing his remarkable artistry and technical mastery.

December 5 | 19:00 - Grand Prix Winner of the French Riviera International Competition

A captivating solo recital by the celebrated winner of this prestigious competition.

December 6 | 19:00  - The Legendary “Georgian Voices” – A powerful closing performance that promises an unforgettable musical experience to crown the grand finale of the festival.

Since its inception, the festival has become one of the most significant and large-scale cultural events in Georgia. It unites celebrated masters of classical music, supports the discovery of talented young performers, and dedicates special attention to Georgian classical heritage and national folklore traditions.

 

Established in 2013 by Ms. Elisso Bolkvadze, laureate of international and state awards and UNESCO Artist for Peace, the Batumi Black Sea International Music & Art Festival continues to promote dialogue through art, foster intercultural understanding, and uphold the enduring values of peace and creativity.
