Alex Chigvinadze's drama - "Invertebrate" is one of the noteworthy events in modern Georgian dramaturgy. Mental confrontation is both the theme of this play and the highest temperature of worldview conflict.
Director Gaga Goshadze, it seems, was guided by this when searching for dramaturgical material - the play should be from Georgian reality, thematically relevant, intense, genre-appropriate, and most importantly, possess the qualities that will not leave the audience indifferent.
