International Festival "Classical Concerts in Batumi 2026"

On April 21-24, 2026, Batumi will host top-notch musicians from around the world and offer listeners unforgettable musical evenings with a diverse program. The project is being implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, which aims to strengthen international cultural dialogue.

They participate in:

Soprano – Dilruba Bilgi (Turkish) Her repertoire as an opera singer is rich and diverse. Bilgi joined the Istanbul State Opera in 2013. Roles: Faust, Michaela in Carmen by J. Bizet, Violetta in La Traviata by Verdi, Nanetta in Falstaff by Verdi, Norina in Donizetti's Don Pasquale Violetta in La Traviata by J. Verdi

Baritone – Caner Akgun (Turkey) Akgun joined the Istanbul Opera Company in 2007, and has also worked at the Mersin, Izmir, Samsun and Ankara Opera Houses. His repertoire includes roles from classical operas: Ford, Rigoletto, Germont, Scarpia, Marseille, Escamillo, Figaro, Count Almaviva, Papageno, Valentino, The Poet and others.

Piano – Fugen Yigitgil (Turkey) is known as a solo performer and teacher. He participates in international music festivals and educational projects.

The concert program showcases the rich tradition of Anatolian lyrical music and its distinctive artistic individuality.
