Folk ensemble “Sakhioba”
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, on September 7, at 17:30, a solo concert of the folk ensemble “Sakhioba” will be held in the Professional State Drama Theater named after Ilia Chavchavadze in Batumi.
The mentioned event is held in the regions of Georgia as part of the series of concerts of the ensemble “Sakhioba”; This will be the second event in a row. On May 20, 2024, with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia, a solo concert of “Sakhioba” was held on the big stage of the State Drama Theater named after Kote Marjanishvili.
At the solo concert of the “Sakhioba” ensemble, traditional Georgian hymns and samples of Georgian folk singing and percussion music from different parts of Georgia will be presented.
At the folk-ethnographic concert artistically decorated with impressive decoration and digital technology, we will present to the public the samples of musical folklore studied and processed over the last five years, recovered from archival and expedition records of different times.
